Thanks Anthony... specs as follows...
Shutter speed 1/4 sec Aperture F 2.8 ISO 200
Helps using a tripod, though I did not have a release cable so the slight camera shake was caused pressing the button. Timer would have prevented that though would have been difficult to time this one :)
More to come soon... glad you like them & thank you for all your comments
Keep well & bright my friend x

Well done Sue - great capture and a very challenging subject technically- can't think how I'd even begin to figure this one out! A very strong image - well done Sue. x

I had to make a comment, beceause I take a lot of night shots; or atleast I used to be fascinated by them. Unfortunately, in a case like this its hard to time thigns out right, but what I find helpful is to use the timer on the camrea, that way you don't shake it, doesn't quite work like a cable release, unfortunately you just have to anticipate things 10 seconds before hand, which can suck for fire works but works for pretty much everything else

Good capture of the fireworks, Sue! Great colours and reflection. BTW, when I use a tripod I set the self timer so I don't touch it when the shot is taken, although I know in this case the timing would be a little difficult to capture the fireworks! Dave.

Nice to see you getting some of these shots onto Usefilm. I think this is my favourite so far - it really captures the atmosphere of the evening

Thank you Scott.
The ISO used for this shot was 200. I did try different settings on the night however all seemed to have a grainy effect.. this photo I thought less grainy (though may be my monitor not picking up the noise.. seems to show the images a little darker than others see them)
I used a tripod for these shots to try & minimise any camera shake, however without a cable release I find just hitting the button can cause a little shake... still a good photo to show the atmosphere of the event so happy enough with the outcome.
thank you for your comment.. greatly welcomed Keep well & bright Quix x

I love shots of fireworks, the only problem I see with it is it looks like the camera was shook a little during the exposure. I don't know exactly what kind of camera your using either, but if you set it to a lower ISO setting it wouldn't appear as noisy as it does. Other than that its nice..
