Petros, Steve, Phillip and Lisa... thanks for all your comments.
When the first I made the contact print of the roll I saw that this new Ilford's color film has a magenta-based film. Then I chose some shots and made enlargements to 5R and 10R prints, to see the grain, color separation and how the magenta color affects the print. When I got the prints, I didn't like the flat white-sky in the original pic then I decided to add gradual-purplish tone for the sky using Photoshop 6. That's how this picture made.

I, too, am wondering about the use of a filter for the sky. Looking at the thumbnail, I thought so. But, in looking at shot here, I see purplish tones in other areas -- like the coats of the cattle -- that make me think not. Please let us know??

This picture drips with colour.... I wish there had been a bit more light on all of it, but what the heck, still a nice shot.

Yes, this has a wonderful look and feel to it. Excellent. Was a filter used on the sky?

Kristupa, I need to get me some of that Illford color film!!!
But seriously, you are sitting on a winner. You've done a fantastic job with this, and it's one of the best shots I've seen in a long time. I like everything about this!
Well done!
