Hi, Gary - I tried tightening it up to get closer to the couple in lower left, I think to good effect. Check the next shot in my portfolio.
Cheers,
Jon

This whole shot looks great Jon! That may be the reason why you didn't want to crop the ghostly figure tighter.
If I were you I would do another with a tight crop so that the ghostly figure becomes the unmistakeable main subject.
I do really like it the way it is too. But just a thought for something a little different. Andre

Superb. I'd crop the far right a bit, though, I find it a little distracting. Who needs a Manfrotto when you have a scarf and a pew? Regards, Gary

Thanks, Elizabeth - Looking it over again I think I might crop out the bright area on the right edge and the tip of the pew at the center of the bottom edge, though. Just little elements that don't add to the image.
Cheers,
Jon

Good question... I think 400 - that's my normal. AND I have to admit that I'm guessing at the aperture and exposure. Might have been f16 at 2 seconds, something like that.
Thanks, eh,
Jon

That is an amazing picture! Before I even looked I knew it had to be Quebec. Not many other places I come across, in this country, that has a church that awesome!! Great work capturing all its glory.;)

A beautifully toned b/w, Jon! What ISO did you use? Wonderful dof with that aperture to get everything perfectly sharp. Well done! Dave.
