Isn't nature grand Andrew! Look at this rose you've captured...exquisite clarity of detail, following the swirling petals to the center...super colors and tone, each petal showing a different soft but vibrant shade...the darkened background which makes the whole rose stand out an say "Here I am...look at me!" This is well done my friend...it stands alone. Best regards--Bill Voizin

Andrew, I have now posted a picture of the kind that we both seem to like (http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1217266). Cheers.

The last seems often the best. The few roses left in my garden seem the more large and colorful of the year. But here the merit is not of the flower: the photographic work is perfect. You have enhanced all the delicate transparences and subtle tones created by the lateral light. The pictures of roses fill the UF floral category, but there are roses and roses. I bring this home. Cheers.
