Yeah... we went Saturday night.. no grand opening there... basically what you see is what you get!
There was a write up in the Journal.. apparently locals are up in arms... It has caused a great deal of disapointment :(
Though.. there is a good view from the carpark of the window displays... so I did get some good photos from the night (4 already on here)
Still.. will visit Simonside in a couple of weeks (that is lit up now!) Guess I'm just curious to see how they got all them trees luminated.
Shame though... they have made what could have been fantastic into something rather luke warm :/ Anyway... hope you got some good shots yourself Ray so your trip was not a complete waste x

Sue this is a corker of a silhouette, 7+++.
A very powerful image with great colour and detail, deserved of an award i'm sure! If it doesn't, I'll sleep in the tent with Bob next time? well..... maybe, although on second thoughts?
