No kidding Marlyce is like a natural talent, and hopefully I will follow along like her . It's been 6 mos. now since our feet passed each other in the sand....ha! I will always remember how unique it was to meet Marlyce that way... then You, keeping us all laughing . Meeting both of You even in 'cyber space' has been a blessing to me .

By the way. Save LOTS of space by pulling the photos (BIG memory sucking files) OFF the pc as soon as possible. Store them on disks or something else . . . Delete from the hard drive and check about defragging it from time to time. I'm guessing you know all this . . . but just in case! :P

I used Picassa for a long time in conjunction with another program. I have a lot of respect for it. Just to let you know . . . I only asked to know what I could and could not suggest for help. For example . . . I have some advice for you for this shot but only if you have some form of Photoshop . . . even Elements. Since it does not apply here . . . although you could improve the shot with different software . . . I truly think this is the best you can do at this time. Your skill, my friend, is at the peak. Your equipment (including software) is being used to MAXIMUM effect. Please take this in the kind spirit I intend it. Surgeons don't work with stone tools . . . but a surgeon could likely help a person anyway. You are doing very well. I'm proud of myself whenever you credit me with helping you because I know as your equipment progresses you'll ZOOM to great shots. AND . . . with the equipment you're using . . . very few can do as well as you. You (and Marlyce) have done well since leaving footprints in the sand! :) Keep shooting . . . there is always more to learn and the only way you can learn it is to hear it . . . like all of us. The only way to hear it is to keep shooting. New ideas. Play with light. Play with shadow. Most important . . . have fun!! :)

Yes, on the editing software .... I finally started using Picassa and 'what a help' that program is for me ! I didn't think I had enough space on my pc but I obviously do !
