Before I read the comments, the thing that attracted me to take a look at the photo was the color in the background, so I wouldn't want to lose that. Maybe Andre's suggestion of making the DOF a little shallower and blurring the background would have emphasized the flowers more. But first impressions are important, and I do like the color in the photo. Nice shot.

Hi Alicia, I understand what Gabriela is saying, and I agree somewhat. Sometimes the impact of a flower can be lost when it is competing for attention with another subject. If the colourful jars were completely blurred, the image would also improve by way of forcing you to concentrate on the flower. Still very nice the way it is. Andre
