re: scratches. i recently followed the directions on a bottle of no-scratch and found that coating _both_ sides of a negative really does eliminate most scratches. suddenly a number of pictures i had thought were permanently lost are now saved! beautiful picture, too, by the way. i like your insistence on darker tones.

a few comments that makes this shot outstanding.. clever decision in going with sepia tones, the cloudy formation gives a feel she is weathering winds and storm, plus you have the ocean.. and most importantly the angle works well here.. good effort.. well done..
