Sid - Essentially luxagraphia is a collection of photographic techniques which make specific use of motion. You can read my explanation here:

I am trying new rappresentations also in the diurnal hours, but the colors that they are obtained from the luxagrafia are unsurpassable. ciao Enrico

Michael - Thanks. I do follow Jude's work. Great stuff.
I'm not sure if I understand your saying that they 'seem to involve a single color palette':

Is that not what you meant?

Hey James -
Golden indeed, I like the spinning motion, this has a really neat effect to make the flame swirl.
I think a lot of these light paintings are very minimalist, centered almost, with you quite at the helm designing the outcome. For the most part they seem to involve a single color pallette. For me this is more structured, and straightforward, but also less complex.
I was wondering if you had stopped by and seen jude's work.

I think she would be a kindred spirit, more colors and more motion, rather a chaotic lady, and posts some of the most poetic/cryptic messages...

Gayle - Thanks. The food at Matador is not very traditional mexicana. It's very much a NW angle on the whole thing. But delicious. Don't worry; I won't tell anyone about the djini.

Impressive result from the motioned camera on lights...the result looks like smoke from a cigarete! Also nice composition between the sharp lines at the background and the blur one at the main foreground. Cheers
