No landscapes? Awwww! I was surprised at the different birds at POFA... did you get any of the night herons? There were so many on the one tree, but all somewhat obstructed by the branches, I wasn't able to get a good capture of one....
I need to check out HMB again sometime soon....
Take care, and thanks for your comments.

very nice classic pose of the GBH, I really like the lighting and natural surroundings, I was at the POFAs the other day with Jinggoy shooting a few landscapes, which i do many though you wont find them on UF LOL.. I suffer from compsition block. for me I will stick to HMB for pelicans early morning with the sun at your back is excellent as they fly by so close sometimes you cant fit them in the frame...

Christine: They are killers alright! They will eat almost anything that will fit down their throats. I still like them though. Thanks for your critique.

Thanks, Bill :) I almost missed this guy, I was looking for a hawk that I saw the other day, and then I saw this huge thing fly and alight on top of the tree. I had to hike back around the pond to get a view of him and get the sun at my back. I was hoping that he'd fly away after a bit, but he was too busy preening himself and stayed put.
I guess I just have to keep my eyes open ;)

This is wonderful Christine, I love that you captured his habitat along with him. Exellent detail and perfect exposer. Very well done. See you can still find critters to capture. Bill
