PS. Just thought of you when I saw photo by Alpha Master "Freedom". You also brought back memory of my first piano parents got me as a child- second hand just £10. Lovely wood and mother of pearl. But sounded funny- turned out drawing pins on every hammer! So beware....Tchaikovsky sounded funny in honky tonk!

I couldn't stay cool if I was getting one of those pianos Mark! Best use of the word "Brill"! All the "top" places here have them, like Royal College of Music etc. (as no doubt you know from internet anyway!). I've never played them, but supposed to have great tones. Wish more shops stocked pianos so I could go round and test loads of different makes. I'll be looking!

Mary, this is WAY off subject, but what kind of reputation does Petrof pianos have over on the other side of the pond. I am looking at an upright piano, I thought it would be cool to get your opinion.
