Hi Jason ,

Thank You so much for the thoughtful critique ! I love it ... I do agree about the cropping of the sky so I guess I better work on a change for this, and a re-posting .
It's So nice to hear from you , Happy Holidays !

Hi Michele.

Just thought I'd pipe up and say that I agree with Robert about cropping the sky. Not only does it increase the significance of the mountains in the image, I find it would place more emphasis on the sand and logs in the foreground. Looking at your previous two pictures, I'd guess that is what you wanted to portray. And you did, the cropping would just increase it.

This is a good landscape photo, and I like the contrast in the composition between the foreground and the background. We see a bleak looking, almost desolate beach littered with deadwood, backdropped by tree covered, life filled, hills/mountatins. Quite interesting.

Jason.

Hey thanks Robbie , I do like your opinion and I do think you could be ....
ahhhhh .... RIGHT !!
Just fooling around, I think you made a very good point and I like the idea of a smaller sky to make the mountains look bigger ... Thank You, for going against the norm... ha!
Best Wishes,
Michele~

Lovely mountain peak landscape Michele,I will go against the norm here and say that there is too much sky which makes the peaks look insignificant.Scroll the page until the address bar is about 1 inch from the peak and then the full image to see the difference.
Just my personal preference, doesn`t mean i`m right.
Take care
Robbie
