I have said it before and I will say it again... This will always be one of my very favorites of yours, Jonathan. I get so moved every time I view it, and I can't help thinking of The Elephant Man, with so much pathos and heart-rending feeling... I get a lump in my throat if I look too long... I know that may sound corny, or may even reflect something more in me than in you, but that's the way it is, and that is what Art should do... This is imagery at its most powerful, and it rocks me to my core...

The core image to start with already has a powerful mood, and your additive technique makes it even more frightening, with the scratches and pockmarks. One of your most effective.

Good composition and lighting. Interesting effect over the whole image. Makes me want to do some self-portraits.
