About This is about how slow the world really moves about us when we stop and consider everything - there is always that part of us that wants to freeze the frame and consider the moment before it is gone forever.

nice work ronny. I like the effect the digital cameras effect has on the greys. Really strange. Great shot.

I really like the composition of this image, with the black space above and below - it seems to highlight the stillness of the figure against the traffic (and congrats on keeping the camera still with no tripod).

thank you all for your comments. yes, marco, this was a difficult one to catch, especially as i didn't have a tripod with me and had to hold the camera very still to keep the figure's image steady. i like this one for its feeling of being the "only still thing in a fast moving world," as shelby said.

wonderful mood and motion, very surreal, captures that feeling of being the only still thing in a fast moving world well.

Hi, Ronald ! thank you for your comment ! Coming to this pic it's very interesting, the idea was very good: I believe a good photographer is one who undesrtand where and when a fine image will come out, and this was a very difficult situation, I'd never thought before to shoot when waiting for my bus...the left side of the image is the better IMO, it looks very "photographic" as shot with a not exisiting fine grain high speed film; as for the right part, where the pavement is so dull grey, it looks too "digitalized", but this could be your expressive choice. I also like composition and BW editing, very dramatic. ciao, Ronald - marco
