About The day of this shoot was rather cold as you can see from the flat light. Sun totally obscured by clouds and a chill off the water. (Water cannot be seen here owing to the tightish crop.)
There is a colour image from this shoot in my PF here called: "Sand in my Shoes".
This image has been "smoothed" in PS a little and very slight other PS touches to bring up contrast and tone.

I posted this one for Paul Lara who really likes this model :)And it isn't difficult to see why!

So good to hear from you Alex! :)

I understand priorites. You and your girlfriend are young, and have plenty of time for more adventures in photography! (And other adventures besides...) :) :) :)

I wish you both well with your exams.

Thank you very much for dropping by and for your kind comments. Yes, she is a lovely model. Fashion photography is fun for me :)

I am currently exploring the world of digital cameras by borrowing a friend's from time to time. Otherwise, I am "re-creating" new images from older ones. But these things are not for "professional" gain at this time. I have much going on in my Life as well, and for me too, photography has sadly ranked a lower place.
That's Life!

Best Wishes to you and your girlfriend, Dear Alex.

Excelent model, Aniko!
My girlfriend would kill me if I started fashion photo, though I would like it!

Thank you for the comments, Aniko.
I've missed hearing you myself.
We've recently installed internet in the house we've rented in Italy, so from now on I think we'll be hearing eachother more often.
Still, I won't choose internet navigating over learning. We have a lot of exams these 2 months to follow and our other actions are placed second.
In the summer I promise to be an active usefilm user!
I'm sad that I've placed photography on a lower place!

Best wishes!
Alex

Yeah, probably. The tones in the original are a bit dull.

No problema...
And I prefer the PS version. Don't know about you.
But I enjoy the interaction with you. Thanks!
Aniko :)

Ah, I understand. You are refering to the colors when you say flat. I was talking about the spatial relations of the objects. The spatial relations doesn't change much between the two versions. Probably the product of having to use longer shutter times. Thanks for posting it.

Here is the original James...
I don't know how you see things on your screen, but to me on mine, this is flat...

Really? Feel like posting the original to this thread?

Yeah James...

I can't control the weather, though I have done a few sun dances etc... and lately rain dances since we are in a drought... hehehe...

If you think this image is flat after the PS work... boy, you ought to see it without PS work!

Your comments are appreciated.

Best Regards,
Aniko :)

Too bad about the weather. The PS work has flattened things out too much for my taste (especially in her hair). Too bad as she really is stunning (Paul has good taste).

LOL Dear Shirley...

A tongue in cheek title of course... :)
Although in Australia, this is plain old "common" beachwear... NOT!!! ROFL! :)

Thank you for your kind comment,
Aniko :)

You're welcome, Paul!

She is very beautiful, but we have all acknowledged this on many occasions.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I am the only one she allows to photograph her. She does NOT allow men to photograph her at all... and likes me as her personal photographer/makeup artist etc... :)

Cheers!
Ani :)

Hi Roger!

Yeah... I LOVE it for portraiture in particular... I have used it since it was known as TCN (as I recall...everything changes names...) It is easy to work, I don't have to do anything with it in the darkroom... thankfully... I'm getting tired of darkroom work (lazy... lol... ) and know how to over or under-expose this fim to get precise reults from my printer at the lab! :) It is great overexposing it slightly as the prints come out warm slightly sepia tone looking! :)
I find it is a far "superior" film to Ilford XP.

Thank you for your kind comment and I hope PL will like this image :)

Warmest Wishes,
Aniko :)

Another gorgeous shot of an uber-hot model.
She has such perfect symmetry in her face and lips...oh, those lips.

Tell her I'm ready to shoot with her! ;)
