Okay, okay, so now you're making fun of my handicap of one leg shorter than the other???
(alright, I see your point... it's still not nice to make fun of the handigippers and aged)
:)

Whoa...and I though my beloved was sarcastic! Anyway, here it is with the tilt corrected, and the frame removed.

Thanks, Chris. Found this and other amazing buildings at the East Ely Depot museum right at the end of the short winter day. Wish I had had more time and light.

Three days and four nights of measuring this photo every which way but loose. No sleep, took time off work and I cancelled the family Christmas.
Sent the picture to the American Professional Photographic Society, the Journal Photographers Guild and to the Smithsonian Film Museum. 32 experts have looked at it.
And I also took it down to Billies Bar and Grill at the corner of Hwy 302 and Main St. and showed it to three drunks.
Nobody but nobody can figure out how it's crooked. Are you sure your monitor is not tilted??

Hi Dave, I like the contrast against the mountains in the background, an interesting old building. Great framing. All the best. Chris

White or black...you can rarely go wrong. Sorry about the 'spanking'.;) While I'm at it...the photo could use a slight tilt correction, too.

Thank you, Shirley.
And as to the frame color, about every couple months, whether I like it or not, I get a little crazy and step out there on the edge and do something other than a white matt, even though I am incapable of determining what a good match is. And every time, whether I like it or not, I get spanked. And then, whether I like it or not, I say "I'll stick to white."
A never ending cycle. I'm making an appointment with my therapist tomorrow.

Very nice capture, Dave...not too fond of the frame you've added, though.

Oh Dave!
The mountain/s in the background (especially at right of frame) is such a great "fit" with the contasting roofline of the building! You sure know how to "frame" an image, sweets...
As always... LOVE IT!!! Ani :)

Thanks Onie. You are the first to mention the mountains in the background. I liked how they mimick the roof line of the building.

Love the starkness... the lines of black with snow foreground rails, middle ground engineers brilliantly coloured office and then those sharp cold peaks in the background Dave... :)...
