Well Doyle what can I say? Ok , just admiting it and confessing is a really good thing and all you can really do at this point. A bit embarrasing ... Yep !

Uhhhhhh . . . well Maybe . . . but in my defense . . . when I realized it was quiet . . . I pulled over and at great risk to my personal safety . . . I returned to pick her up . . . and I didn't even take that long to make the decision to go back either . . . not really! Besides it was a lovely mountain road in an area of unspoiled beauty. I should point out that I still 'Hear' about it from time to time a decade later......

1 the motorcycle was stopped and you had said you wanted to look under it...who would think you wanted to tip it so sidewise you actually dumped me off. 2 it was not quiet for the three hour ride home now was it..........and now we know why I have my own motorcycle.....I have NEVER left a passenger behind....my passenger is always first

ONE: Never get off a running motorcycle without telling the driver . . .
and
TWO: I really SHOULD have noticed when it was quiet.
Heheheheheee.

Thanks for the support words Michele.....ask Doyle about leaving me on the side of the road because he did not realize I got off the motorcycle (would love to hear his version_....think this "partial" dock is a guy thing.

Yeah, or maybe it is just a guy thing....like leaving your wife on the side of the road while you drive off on your motorcycle because you did not realize your wife was no longer on the motorcyle

Thank you Michele, I was fasinated by how many docks I saw that did not go to the shore...we will just ignore Doyle's comment...personally I think they are actually hiden planks that only females (especially blondes) can see and all the guys are stuck in the middle because they would never figure how to get to the end.

Another excellent image Marlyce ... I love this shot... I think Tahoe is one of the only places to have the docks to nowhere like that. As soon as I saw it I knew it was TAHOE ..... weird huh? I wonder why they are like that? I like the natural framing around the bottom and left hand side, as well as the added frame... which is more of a high-lite.<IMO I love the way you shot the lake as the entire image and and the water is soooo Blue. Thanks for sharing this one too 7++.
