I did a better search and found the program. I think this will help me a lot. Even my most simple skys look oatmealish straight from the download. I've corrected by using lower iso and trypod, but that doesn't help me with field shots. I will let you know how this works. If it does what it says I wouldn't mind paying for it either.
Paul, it's not intentional. A result of several things, older digital camera (Fujifilm), shot taken while walking, oversharpening, & tight cropping. Some may be from the editing program (Picture Window) and lower quality monitor. I have learned and have gotten a better camera, this is an older shot, maybe a year ago.
Even so, a poor quality image of a beautiful subject, is still better than the highest quality image of somthing that isn't intersting, right? For me content trumps quality every time. Of course, to get both is the ultimate goal.
I tried you link, as I would like to get a program that would do better with my post processing noise that I often get. But it seems that they are going out of business and it is no longer available there. I will try to hunt it down from some other way.
Thanks for your honest comment. I wish I got more of your kind. We learn from our failures, not our sucesses.
