About This is the black mount from Rannoch moor, a desolate and wonderfull landscape.
It is my favourite photography and hillwalking area. I converted to black and white and added a slight blue tint just to bring out the chill.

Hi Roger,

Nikon are still using the smaller sensor, i don't think they have any plans in the near future to introduce a larger sensor, but you never know. The only problem with the full sized sensor is you have to use the best quality glass
available the bigger sensor is very critical.

Hi Roger,

Thanks very much for your critique, but after 30 years i am still looking for the perfect shot.

As to the D200 I have had it almost a year now and i am delighted with it, pin sharp 24"x16"
are the norm and A3 inkjet prints are amazing.

Absolutely gorgeous scene and excellently rendered. Nice toning also. I second the previous post about the tilted horizon.

This is a gorgeous image and I like the slight blue tint. Now, this may be a bit picky but to me it looks a little crooked. Perhaps rotate a couple of degrees to the right? so the hills don't look like they are all going uphill in that direction?
