Thank you for your comment & yes... everyday I appreciate the wonderful landscape I have around me... I am very fortunate indeed :)
Thank you also for drawing me back for another look at your portfolio... you have fantastic work in there & I hope you do not mind me adding you to my friends list... these days I find it rather hard to keep up with everyone around here & that is a perfect way to keep track of what you put on...
I love a great many of your photos & that is just at a fleeting glance so must make time to pop back for a further look
Keep well & bright Quix x

Thank you Shirley... though I like the subdued colours caused by the fog here.. the effect gets lost when the photo is lightened.
Thank's anyway... your suggestions are greatly appreciated x

Yes, definitely too dark, dear Sue, but a very beautiful scene. Hope you don't mind...I worked with it a bit.

A nice moody, atmospheric landscape, Sue! I think you need some sun for the polarizer to work!;) Dave.

I like the scene Sue . . . very tranquil. Seems a tad too dark for me, though that's a personal opinion more than a critique. Normally, I don't use my polaroid filter unless there's bright sunlight . . . I certainly never considered using it in fog. Interesting about too . . . built by a local Monk, huh? I suspect the tranquility would help in Spiritual work . . . and it's certainly here. A neighbor perhaps? Hope you had a truly great holiday. :)
Wishing you a Happy New Year!! Doyle I <~~~~~

Such a peaceful view on a gentle slope. The colour of the earth and rooves adds a lovely warmth to the image even in the gentle mist. A beautiful building I would have thought was older.
