HI Emil...I don't like this...i hopeyou don't think im being mean, its just well, it reminds me of what my art teacher used to force me to draw.......i do however like the tones and the light and the border is cool too.....i prefer your naked women though. regards. me. (jonathon liked it though......which is what matters most...)

By the way, I think perhaps we all should be having more discussion. It is a good thing and I enjoy it. I left a message on one of Lisa's latest images about digital vs. film. My position is that I like both. If you want to contribute to the discussion, I think a lot of us would enjoy hearing your thoughts.

Thank you, Emil. That is absolutely a stunning image. I do like it very much. The way you give a sense of movement to a stillife is fascinating to me. I hope I wasn't insulting to you. It was just something that I had been wanting to say. And to be fair, I question whether it's me. When I look at some of your nudes, I immediately see the great care and incredible technique that you employ. But then I start to wonder if it is just an acceptable format for me to enjoy looking at naked women. Perhaps this is just the ugly american coming out in me but I DO like looking at nude females (esp. Kala). What I wonder about is whether I am looking at it for the art or am I just leering? Perhaps it is somehow all interconnected and maybe I am overanalyzing it. I do try to question not only my responses to things, ie. why I like things, but how that relates to what I create. So maybe it's not you afterall. Maybe it is how I respond to some of your subject matter.

sometime i couldn't understand some subject in your photo, but i always impressed about the atmosphere by the magical lighting and dramatic pose/setting (and always remind me of story/tale).. and i love it so much~
