Amy, I used Neat Image to reduce noise. It should not increase sharpness. I feel the softness of this image is one of it's attractive features which contributes to the pleasant mood or atmosphere. The noise is the grain or unnatural texture you see in the image usually due to cameras sensor's difficulty in capturing the image at in low light situation.

Anyway its a very nice image.

Thanks Joe. It does look a bit sharper now. I took this picture Christmas Eve morning on the way to Grandma's house. (as they say, over the hills and thru the woods) LOL I really didn't take the time necessary to get the right settings. Actually I was just lucky that my husband would even pull over and let me take the shot. :) Thanks for your comments and help!

I like this image. The colours are very nice which give it a pleasant mood. Well done.

I took the liberty of reducing the noise in the image using Neat Image. Do you think this is an improvement?
