Yes, Tony, it looks underexposed on my monitor, and I have an older monitor that is fading and tends to be on the bright side.

Shirley,I've just been looking at my last three uploads on another monitor and they all look really under-exposed,in the above shot I can see absolutely no detail in the dog's fur.As I now have a new monitor maybe it's on too bright a setting and so the photos are perfectly exposed for that monitor but horribly under-exposed on all others-is this and today's shot of pepe underexposed on your monitor?

Thank you for commenting Shirley,I understand what you mean about boost but after some time playing around with selections and curves this was about the best I could do.It was difficult to find the right balance with detail in the dog's fur and the kind of contrast which would have left the softness in Adrian's face.I'll have another session with this photo tonight and see what i can come up with!Thanks again, Tony.
