Thanks, Joe. I've done this now for 14 years and I must say it's been sheer torture almost every year -- and I think my kids would whole-heartedly agree with that statement. Getting these two to look reasonably "okay" at the same time has been a real challenge. I've never taken less than 36 shots, and I've never had more than one I could use. But the outtakes are hilarious.
Ah, the family traditions . . .

Great looking kids Maryanne. You must be very proud. Comparing this image to the 1998 version you can see that they have really grown up in the last 8 years. Interesting having the same people pose in the same location over a span of time. Very interesting exercise. Real nice picture too. Regards

Well that's what I thought ---
And this year, my daughter flat-out refused to hold the "Merry Christmas dachshund" (see Christmas 2004). These kids have no Christmas spirit!
