I appreciate your comment, Leonie. I noticed the same thing after downloading from the camera. One is "drawn in" under the trees to examine the ground plane - I even counted the picnic tables. When taking the shot, I was concentrated more on the primary tree and didn't really notice the depth.
Glad someone else saw this image the same way.

Nicely done Howard. This IR work sure sounds much simpler for you digital users. I'd really like to see some more of this from you. This one is nicely composed however I wonder if it could be enhanced by using some closer foreground element
