This image...I love it, what a wonderful place...I'm going to Europe in a couple of months myself...and these are the places I would love to be, to photograph...not the big city :)

lighting: absolutely great contrast
originality/emotional appeal. the three colours have a powerful effect and make this image extremely interesting.

Pepita, you explored very well the thir's rule to do this composition with foreground, middle and background very well delineated. I don't know if was possible but I'd like to se more from the rich flowes in the foreground. Maybe the use os wide angle lens more powerfull and if you positioned closer and a bit up make the composition even more pleasure. But this is a very personal choice, just a Idea to think in the another photo. Regards, Alex.
