Darlene, I think you have the elements of a fine photo here. It's a really nice capture. And the colors and tones are great. I find myself asking if the photo is intended to be of a really pretty scene with a goose flapping about while others are watching, or is it a scene of the geese, who happen to be in a pretty place. From my point of view, the action of the geese becomes a little lost in the expanse of the setting. My personal preference would be to more closely crop the photo to emphasize the geese, and maybe improve the lighting a little bit to have the tones be not quite so flat. I've added a quick workup of my suggestion.

Darlene, Fantastic shot with awesome details. IMHO I would have cropped this in pano format bringing in the subjects a tad bit closer. also did you give any thought to cropping out the Geese on the far left? Just my take on a wonderful shot.

My Best Regards

Sam III

PS how is Krystal doing and the rest of your family?

Hi Darlene,
I like the way you have selectively focused on all the geese and their reflections in the frame. This clearly indicates that they are all part of the main subject... Okay there is one stand-out show off. But they're all part of the same team.
Andre
