hey michele, very good abstract-like image! Maybe it could improve on the balance between the blue and the other color (red? brown?) and maybe it has more impact when the contrast is higher. But that's just an idea. I like the composition and the abstractness. And the fact that the lines connect all the 'dots'. :)

Hi Doyle,
Thank You .... Do You remember those horrible shots at the gaallery I posted last summer? The highway was showing, cars were showing.. they were bad.
I always wanted to go back with a 35mm and shoot them again... this is one of them . I didn't get it just right yet like I want to. The sky was so blue I wanted to use the sky while I could.
Yes, this was in motion, and this was the fun part to me and it will be fun to try your idea with a blur too !
Sending you another one I didn't post because I think it might be better than the one I posted with the object in it :(

I am satisfied tho and always Nice to hear from You my friend !!!

Regards,
Michele~

Thank You for your comment Jan and for pointing out the thing that doesn't belong in this image... I didn't notice it until You pointed it out which is a bummer .... It is now Very distracting.
Here's one for You w/out any distractions.... lol ! I had so many I may have chose the wrong one to up-load ...

Thanks again ,
Michele~

Blue is also the color of Spirituality. Lovely work and abstract . . . Unique . . . glad to see you trying this kind of stuff too and this surprised me a lot. Jan's right about the artifact . . .

Good eye to see this one Michele and pretty much a well presented composition. I would, however, prefer a lower bottom crop because it 'feels' like the subject in this photo was inadvertantly cut. Was this in motion? If so . . . it might make an even more abstract image by slowing the shutter speed and scarfing up some blur to go with that blue and give a real feeling of motion. (Just something for you to consider).

Doyle I <~~~~~

Well I like it as I said and I have heard that using lots of programs to edit is not good but
I think a lot of that depends on how you are editing and how you are saving your images after you edit. I always use the tif. format as it does not compress the file as much and everytime you open it to do some more work on it it does not degrade it as much........This is really all I know and its not much. I just save everything to
tif format straight from Raw. You may not even shoot in Raw. lol (TOO Funny) Anyways......You should get you a good program to use. I used photoshop 7 and seem to like it. Also I have a program ...Paintshop pro 9 and like it for some of the things I can't do in photoshop 7 or it maybe it is easier ect......
Id love to get the big pro photoshop program but Im not there yet photographiclly speaking to waste such money on that right now.

This photo is fine Michele.

Best wishes and much love

Paul

Hi Paul,
So sorry to hear You have been sick but glad to hear YOU are starting to feel better. Thank you for your kind comment. I went to Newport and took a bunch of shots on Sunday . It's the largest town near me 25 miles south. Maybe 20 or so turned out alright but nothing I am really excited by . I should've used a tripod I should've gone earlier in the day as it was pretty dark and ohhhhh soo shivering cold when I got going:(( Anyway I did learn what Not to do..lol !! Also I think I learned some things on image by transfering it all over to several different editing programs which I think took some of the clarity out of it (?)
Do you think this happens ? I have crumy zoombrowser, bad picassa, not much better PictureProject that came with my camera, and photofiltre that I am still learning.....
Oh geez.. now my boss wants me to come into work an hour earlier ... dang it.
Well , thank You for the comment Paul, and I know you get behind if you miss a couple days but when you can give me your thoughts on this Ok ?
Love,
michele~

There is a good sense of movement in this and again, like my previous comment, the geometry is strong and makes the picture interesting.
One note: there is an artifact of some kind that does not appear to belong in the picture about 1 o'clock up from the center brace/center tie of the bar. Sort of a dark blue slightly curled line. Not sure where that is coming from.
--Best to you, Jan
