~~GRIN~~ Robin... I feel for you with the cold... Today, Sunday 4th February at 2.45pm the temp is 38.7C = 102F... Strong dry heat with a hot wind thrown in... supposed to get to hotter over next few days...
You are welcome, if I could get a bunch of bright pick-me-ups all at once, you'd have them with huge HUGS... ~~GRIN~~...
Going to have to plant a drought resistant garden when we move, and find a place to put the ones we have carted around all these years in their own little, safe area... Some are thirty or more yrs. old, others we've gathered along the way and many have never been out of a pot... So, to be at their final destination, no more moving will be a bonus... ~~GRIN~~ Knowing my luck, they'll probably try the soil for a few weeks, decide they liked moving around, from mountains to flat, and up and die...
Anyway, while we have flowers, we'll send you winter smiles... :)

But I'm going through withdrawal Onie! :)
Right now...9:15PM, -20C with a windchills of -31C to -37C(jeez, hope I converted correctly)...so glad I came back for another look at this warm weather beauty! Gorgeous color against the dark background, wonderfully detailed and composed. Thanks for the pick-me-up on such a cold winter night...makes me smile!

I'm supposed to be packing up the house, however, keep giving myself permission to take some time for photos ~~GRIN~~... Our new home will be finished and I'll still be taking *just one more shot*...

~~GRIN~~ Doyle... Waited til late yesterday light wise... Tried getting this as the buds coloured but wasn't happy with them... :)
The strappy leaves behind are a mix of agapanthus, lillys and ginger plants plus the *like* tone is bark mulch...:)

Supposed to get to hot dry heat 39C here today so, no snow and cold... at least it won't be energy sapping humid like a few weeks back... :)
