Thank you Jan, I'm also sorry to hear about your dog.
I was just so glad that Clio was not alone when she died, it was very sad and seems strange after all these years that she is no longer with us. Their lives are all too short, but they give us so much love for the short time they are with us.

Meg -- I overlooked this sweet photo of dear and departed Clio; she was very beautiful. My dog, Zoe, passed away in November and we still and always will miss her. I understand how you feel.

Oh, Meg...how sad. We had beloved cats and dogs, too, and it is always so hard to lose them...their lives are just too short.
