Ah Liz, I know, ya gotta feel for the girl.
After all of those wasted opportunities to get her hands on something a little more....ah... anyway, you know what I mean, it is a bit sad.
There are many excuses that could be made for Arnold, but what it really comes down to, is that he is a dud in the sack!!

Yes! Sheila was quite stunned too, Arnold had partaken in quite a few ales at the ceremony and Sheila was worried he may not be able to perform and that she may have to wait until morning, but no, he held up admirably.

Certainly Patrick, Sheila is hot stuff indeed!!
A woman never looks as good as on the day she weds, that may have been a contributing factor in Arnold's rush of love...so to speak!
There is certainly no W.C. Fields there,or Kurt... but you don't think that clean shaven he may have a touch of J.R. about him?
As for Arnold (and Sheila's) blatant disregard for the merits of bagging the ole' fella, perhaps, as Onie said, the excitement of the night pushed aside all logical trains of thought. I think it is likely that this was the case, as they had barely made it into their motel room before Sheila had her Vera Wang trailing on the floor and Arnold's bow tie was off!! Scared poor old Aunty Dot, who had a room in the motel next to theirs. It had been a while since SHE had witnessed the effects of such passion....amongst other things...

Eighteen seconds!! Man, Sheila has found herself a right stallion there! That would put most guys to shame! I have to say, I'd be lucky to last 3 seconds with a gal like Sheila... look at her! Like a fantasy hybrid of Courtney Love, Mae West and Charlene Tilton (Lucy Ewing from 'Dallas'). But what a 3 seconds it would be... the force of an exploding star condensed into a moment of utter bliss. I am shocked, though, to read that Arnold didn't put a bag on the old fella... you'd think a man of his age would know better. Ahh, but as wise folk know, foolhardiness is not the preserve of youth...
