One more. This one may be a little more of what Joe was mentioning, only it's taken from the other side of the light, and not as picturesque (no perfectly placed boat).

Thanks for your advice, Joe. Forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean by "a CC image"?

I shot several frames here, but none quite like what you were mentioning of straight on at the boat. I'll post a few of the others here as well.

I do think you're right that this would also be lovely in the early morning light. I've never been fortunate enough to be on the island at that time though. Maybe next trip! :)

As a CC image, I'd say that the framing really does contribute, here. There's also another photo here, in my opinion, straight on to the shed and the building next to it, with the boat in front. The crop works because there's a c-shape road on the right the winds back into the photo. There's also another photo of this same scene, perhaps, when the sun breaks through the clouds.
