Well, the drug made from the plants is regulated to very small and measured doses, which you cannot do when handling the plants.

Hello Shirley, well you told me some thing I didn't know about the foxgloves, and my grandmother had heart trouble, and died with a heart attack. Looks like if they made heart mec's, looks like they would be ok to handle, well I may just stick to my Holly hocks.

They are beautiful...thank you. But remember that they can be dangerous for anyone with heart trouble to handle. They are what a heart drug is made from.:)
