About This one has the strongest grey-blueish steel and concrete atmosphere. I metered light on a spot on the snow, which resulted in underexposing the scene and thus enhancing those hues that make the shot appear quite monochrome. The emptyness of the scene, the steel constructions and the deep perspective of the leading lines support the atmosphere of going to work with hundreds of people and knowing nobody. Some kind of result of the strict separation of work and private life perhaps, in the sense of an ants colony but with a communication breakdown. Strange that this still works.
