... a tree... Timber, wood, lumber... While out at our new home I realized just how much we rely on timber... I mean, I've thought about it and how our rain forests are fast disappearing, how we should and must recycle etc... But not how much is really used... Not just for the beautiful but for the mundane... Like this palette stack that other materials are transported on... It supports and protects all manner of items from heavy machinery to our white goods... The list goes on... and on…
There is a large waste cage that the builders are putting the *rubbish* in… Timber off cuts, tiles, steel banding, polystyrene packing, plastic wrapping and nail gun belts, cardboard… all manner of bits and pieces… I am amazed by quantity of it all… All from the building of one home…
