Hard to tell, what aperture, shutter speed and focal length were you using? Also was the crop from the center? Looking just at this crop I am still not that happy with the result. Maybe it's just me. Main thing is if you are happy with the results, thats all that really matters.

Thanks for the comments. I haven't noticed a problem with the sharpness of the 24-105. Maybe I should be expecting more? Here is a portion of an image I shot this week in Kingston. Hand held, no sharpening or other pp. I cropped this at 100%. I will also post the resized full image in another post. What do you think?

Great example of what the 5D can do, hardly any noise at 3200, wow. Colours looks so nice too, nice capture of textures and colours. The only thing Joe, is I am not convinced about your 24-105. I keep looking at those shots and expect them to be sharper and I really don't get that.

Hi Robbie,
The full size original doesn't look noisy, maybe it's the subject matter, I did't use a noise removal filter. All I did was tweeked the saturation just a bit and resized for the site.
