~~GRIN~~ Sometimes that need to make the lines *bite*, to give definition, is strong...

Glad you like Mel, appreciated heaps...:)

Gabriela... I thank you for your lovely words, I am humbled but at the same time, truly honored... :)

We are all artists really, the camera our tool for seeing beauty, feeling a moment that we capture, hopefully to give to others that they may also enjoy...:) Through our different perspectives we broaden our horizons...:)

Very appreciative Gabriela...:)))

Extreme sharpening has done the trick here, excellent texture in those fronds.

Great texture and colours here!Like the waves and the various levels, the light is chasing the shadow and the lines keep running ad infinitum!
The artist in you sees there where we, mortals, don't!
Best regards,
Gabriela

~~GRIN~~ Rog... Glad you like...:)))

... My poor hubby doing OK, a very understanding, easy going man he is... I'm a very lucky girl :)))... Me doing all the packing as he is physically unable to... Just I get myself hi-jacked, see things that look interesting, grab the camera... Have been packing since before Xmas... So doing pretty well on that front... :)))

Liz... There are times when I've put up something and think later, *why*, and, what was I thinking... ~~GRIN~~... but admit to really liking this and being pleased with the result... That said without being self effusive... :)

Your comments, critiques, suggestions etc. are always important, ~~GRIN~~ and the fun...

Our home is almost at lock-up stage, so won't be too long now... Maybe, hopefully and fingers X a month... Brickies have started... :) I've been packing since before Christmas, taking it slow... LOL... We are starting to look like we live in a house of packed cardboard boxes here... Not sure how the Big Bad Wolf would go trying to blow it down, the three little pigs would have nothing to fear... :)))

Thanks kindly Liz... :)))

Hi Txules... :))) I do love *up close* work...

Not sure if it's because I like sketching etc. and the detail is right there on the paper, under my nose... The furthest my work gets from me is the length of my arm... If that makes sense... :)

I feel the same with the sort of photos I'm happiest taking... Close up, abstract or macro... It's touchable, an arms length on the screen and print... I control the in-animate...

Where as with landscapes and portraits, I can sketch them no problem, but I procrastinate too long to take a photo... The light goes, or a facial expression changes in the blink of an eye, and I haven't re-acted quick enough to catch the *magic*... I fluke the odd one, but very few and far between...

I suppose you could say, I wimp out ~~GRIN~~...

But, that is what I love about photography... The magicians, such as yourself and others from all over, who bring the *worlds faces and places* to us, to marvel at and sometimes question... :)

I am truly pleased you like this Txules, always appreciate your views...:)
