About	This photo was taken while I was working on board the icebreaker, R.S.V. Aurora Australis, as a bird observer. This was an exquisite sunset while we were steaming through 'Iceberg Alley'. This particular iceberg, just to the left, is stained by marine algae and I liked how it contrasted with the 'pure' icebergs near it. The sunset offered a beautiful background of pastel hues. I only bought my camera second-hand a month before then, having used a Pentax Espio 38-135mm for many years, I wanted more control, and was suitably pleased with the results!
