Yes of course it looks so better now!
In fact this kind of shots often shows few details because of the wide distance and the water steams which make the image a little faded. You seems happy for this result!:) You can also enhance colors using Hue/Saturation by PS to make it vivid.

..You know that if you tried to add an auto contrast using Photoshop you'll never suffer from such as these windows again! :) hope you've enjoyed your flying.
