Thank You for viewing and commenting nessa... I am so glad you've enjoyed it-- Whale Watching is soooo exciting but definitely must have a longer lens than I have--as so many laws do protect both the mother + baby whale -- must stay at least 1,000 feet away from them. Oh-- they come to the calm bays in Maui for breeding and the birth of their babies... then they are well protected by the father too or an escort ! Pretty cool huh?

Thank You Jan... Yep the guy taking the picture works for the same people who operate the boat ..It's a 'Package Deal' but I still love to be a tourist and do all of it !!

Nice one, Michele. It looks like a fun place to visit and I assume the guy taking the pictures makes his living that way; no one else would schlep a power pack around for the strobe light!
Good street capture.
--Best to you, Jan

Michele . . . If I could say something to help you improve the shot I would (you know me) and although we both know the shot is a tad soft nothing can be done about that now. At the same time . . . I STILL think it is evocative of an image people from . . . uhhhhhh . . . our generation have where the parents take snapshots of family, especially on family vacations. The softness in the image (IMO) adds to that feeling. As for the distance . . . forget any concern there - it's really very good perspective. You have converging lines from the roof line to the horizon and the road line meeting the bottom of the buildings to the horizon.

Nope . . . I'd never let you embarass yourself. That's MY job! HEHEHeheheee.

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Wheeh , I was afraid maybe it was a little soft on the focus and not too good in the distance either ..... I was holding my breathe but If YOU say It is Good, then I know it is ok...cause you won't let me embarass myself right ?
Thank You Doyle very much.... I have learned much more since then ( 2 weeks ago lol) but like these images soooo much !!!
Regards,
Michele~

Good perspective shot. Michele . . . this makes me nostalgic for the family photos I found myself in as a child . . . classic! :)
