Nice coluration on this one - I like the difference in colours between the two sides of the groyne.

Thank you Mustafa :)

A lot of photography has to do with luck & a good eye... those I have... but like many others on UF I have so much to learn.

Your comment has brightened my day
Thank you again

Keep well & bright

Thank you Carl.. your feedback very good indeed. I quite like the lightness of the sand to the left, especially in contrast of the darkness & colours in the right :) Again though it's down to personal preference.

I took your advise & tried B&W on this one..

Thank you for your comment Jim... yes... the sand was blowing against us with quite a force when I took these photos & I was worried about my camera.

The Lumix does not have many places sand can get into & I shielded my lens with my hand & had my larger lens hood on to keep the sand out.. to be honest I think I came off worse than my camera! lol :)

Comment greatly appreciated
Keep well & bright

Very impressive image. I would worry about the blowing sand geting in my equipment.

great image.its a view ive seen many times myself :0) i'd be tempted with a b/w version, bet it would look great.if i had to pick a fault id say that the highlights on the left side of the posts are a little blown out for my liking.a tricky shot to expose well.anyway, love it!!!
all the best :0)
