Thank you Dave... though think I like other Dave's (Dixon) idea to keep the bottom in as a stop & lighten up the darker right hand side :) (He attached an edited version to see) Still have not completely decided but think Dave is right about the bottom bit marking the end of the photo :)

There is a lt of black on there, so I'd normally have suggested going for the version with the least black, like the others have so far. However, I think the original version works better because of the way that the dark area in the bottom left helps to frame the shot. As an experiment I tried editing this a bit, and tweaked the curve for the bottom right-hand side to bring out a bit more brightness where there's detail to be had.....

I like the vertical orientation and composition in this one, Sue! It gives the whole scene a little different perspective. I think I like the second one slightly better. Dave.

The second version may be best since there is so much black at the bottom in both. I love them both, though!:)
