Hi Allen, I agree with the maximum DOF in most landscape situations. But, when you have a large bush in the foreground, I'm not so sure. Our eyes can't reproduce the same image in our heads. So, there is something a little flat and unnatural looking when everything in the image is sharp. Andre

Thanks Andre, for viewing and commenting on this landscape. On the contrary, in my humble opinion, with landscapes such as this, maximum depth of field gives dimention and sharpness in landscapes is where it's at.

A nice classic view Allen. But, I'm not sure that the chosen f stop is the best way to go with this image. The quality of the image is fine. I tend to see landscapes that are completely sharp as flat, without the feeling of depth. I know a lot of people prefer them this way too. So, it is purely subjective. Andre Andre
