About Today the prairies were moody in a good way. Lots of storm clouds flying by with snow or rain cascading from their lofty heights. So Debbie and I waited until an hour before sunset to catch the best of it, for our evening shooting fest.
This time of the year has that fresh spring is coming air, that made us happy, to be out there enjoying whatever we came across in the golden light of the afternoon.

Agreed, from my experience, I have met few bed ones but never been in a situation chase one, I know what you mean. And it is addictive and exiting...you never know, Tim, we might come across to gather :) and for sure neither one will miss the shot:)

Well Alberta is cloud central with a large build up of cumulus and cumulonimbus formations starting around 1:00pm like clock work....hopefully a twister to catch if you are lucky....not that i would wish a twister on anyone...but i have to say i am a storm chaser.

This is one of my favorites.
Only God can create something as dramatic as this.
Great shot.
Magic moment captured here.
I might be making a short trip up to Canada in late summer. Do you recommend Banf or Jasper for shooting ?

Yeah Roger, i am not fond of man crap either and get kind of pissed at it in general. But sometimes it creates a possibility photographically. So I thought to use the towers to gain some perspective for the tinyness of human constructions, hence the reference to GOD...as it is only us that has this concept of sprit to deal with, here on earth.....well as far as we know anyway.

Very nice Tim, dramatic sky shots are always nice and here you have the nice combination of dark sky and breakthrough lighting. Looks great. My only minor gripe and maybe it's my imagination, is that the horizon looks to have a slight curve to it.

Oh Tim! That's a very powerful image. Really, in moments like this, under the power of Nature, we can only think how small we are, how fragile and in need of Divine protection.

Well done my friend!

Excellent!!!
