I love to hear the stories of travel. I appreciate your information on this & that it was actually where the tsunami in 2004was.. Makes soo much more of an impression when viewing it.

I took the picture when we stopped for lunch en route from Yala to Galle. I am not sure what the name of the actual place was but the beach was beautiful.
However, behind me were the ruins of a large number of houses and buildings that had been destroyed in the tsunami in 2004, so the sea does have a bite to it.

Hi Adele, I thought maybe I should say something more than 'Perfection' ... I LOVE the palm trees that grow sideways and the shade they provide, that BLUE blue sky and the color of the ocean... I Love Your Beach !!:))
