Shirley,
that's a wonderful portrait, great artpiece and straight example of your creativity. It's great and very expressive in composition and strong in model work through this nice tight crop. I do not know what forms the veil but it does great job softening her eyes and face but keeping lips and hand sharp. Mysterious and provoking the same time. Great in B&W as well as in color.
