Michele:
How could you think such a thing?? Give me some credit! First off . . . if I have an issue with someone, they WILL hear about it. And our exchange wasn't even an issue, simply a misunderstanding we both regretted and apologized for. If I have a problem with you I will say so . . . and I expect (and got) the same coutesy from you. You're right . . . I have a lot on my plate now . . . bird biz taxes due, personal taxes, corporate security, issues in our non-profit, blah blah blah . . . You need bigger guns to scare me off! And you KNOW I value our friendship! I did get the e-mail . . . I completely understand . . . and feel no need to dwell on it. Patience Grasshopper . . . Marlyce can tell you that there are VERY few people more forgiving than I am . . . and there isn't even anything you need to be forgiven for!! Honest questions are ALWAYS fair . . .
So no . . . you're not close to the truth - and don't overestimate your need for a good critique. You've developed good skills in self-analysis . . . and are growing ALL the time! :)
Warm Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Thank YOU Pradnya -- Most of my Maui images had the polorizing lens on FYI ($32.00) but I don't think You could really tell I was using it because it was sooo bright and clear, and HOT --- but I will add an image that does show it- I had forgotten I had it on- and it came out kind of hazy because it was an image in the shade as well...
Photography is not an in-expensive hobbie like I'd first thought ..ha!!!

Thank YOU Doyle for the nice comment...I was begining to think you were'nt going to comment on my images anymore until I got PS :(( Am I very close to the truth ? I don't blame you but I miss your critique's... Ohhh I know you are in high demand and have several projects going on your-self--- Plus I might have scared you after my last comment..but I hope not.
Anyway 'it's always a pleasure to hear your comments... There are not so many people who take the time to write a good critique .... and I need them ! Again, Thank YOU.
Best Regards, Michele~

Good eye to spot this guy Michele . . . Carp get very large and, you're right, not good to eat. Fish take on a flavor of what THEY eat . . . carp are scavengers (sucker fish) who take in silt and decay. Yech! They get large because they have plenty to eat in the wild!
The polarizing filter kills the glare . . . would have been perfect. Of course, if you want the surface and sparkles on the water, like a sunset . . . then it's not good. But well done anyway . . . he's quite clear!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Dear Michele, if I had the choice,I would prefer fresh salmon too, you could be lucky to have this wonderful fish all day fresh!!! But a carp tastes really good. It’s a specialty by the German people. They eat this fish for Christmas Eve. Called a carp blue, boiled with a butter sauce. Now I’m hungry….LOL:)) Nice evening,Nicole

Hi Nicole, thank YOu sooo much for viewing and commenting and your kind rate :)) I don't think that carp taste very good---but I've never eaten them just because I live here at the ocean & am sooo spoiled both by the salmon, and all the rest of the fresh sea food.... I could've caught them with a net I think !!! Huggssss, Michele~

Hi Michele, that's a big fish for sure. Do you have a polarizing filter? Great for pond/water shots as you can reduce the surface glare. kes
