It is becoming commonly referred to as the, Band or Bothers composition. Nicely done, My only critique would be that it would be nice to have about one more stop of contrast.

You are totally right.
And I dont mind a little rain...
The picture was planned this way. It was raining the day I had to shoot the players, but the sky needed to be dramatic. The picture actually includes 9 single shots: 7 for the Players (I needed high detail for a huge poster), the sky and the ground. Thanks for all comments !

Hate to rain on your parade, but it looks to me that the sky comes from completelly different picture. Photoshop I presume?
I like the players line though.

Normally, it would not yield interesting images putting your subjects in a straight line, but you succeeded in creating powerfull and dramatic image. It suits the sport.
