Thank YOU Nicole-- It was a wonderufl place to find after I thought I knew every place around here--- I had to stop and close the back of the van and looked over into this !!!!
Can You beleive it (?) I was suprised, and happy--I did sit there for at least 10 minutes, just to absorb some of it's peace ...but I could sit for hours as you mentioned... it is very quiet and soothing...
so happy you like it :)

It looks as good as new- better probably-- I had a green one that looked simular to yours and loved it ... Bring your wife- she would like it too right ? Well if not there is lots of intereting shops, + galleries... and of course the casino ...lol!!!

Strapped on and ready to go - now to convince my wife to give me a few weeks off LOL! This attached photo is of my favourite canoe that I use when I'm going solo. It's a canvas covered cedar strip built in 1910 and belonged to the last licensed trapper in Algonquin Provincial Park.
Well maybe someday I'll get to Oregon with it.

Hi Guy !!! lol!!! Well maybe you should strap your canoe on top of the SUV and drive on down.... well in one month it will be better weather-wise but there are miles, ansd miles of rivers, lakes, water-ways to explore... on my 49th b-day ..awhile back I wanted to canoe from Siletz to the bay- a 26 miles trip-- it took almost 12 hours but it was amazing... Now I know that river like part of my body plus both the river and the body change each season .. .lol!!!!! Just teasing around-- I don't mean to offend you !
