About My daughter and I found the body of a blackbird in the garden without the head. Then yesterday Anna Sophie came running with the head that she found under her swings. She carressed it and decided to place the head where weīd put the body.
Poor bird probably being killed for fun by a cat.

Yummy- no lunch for me;-)
Yes, itīs a problem with cats killing for the fun of it especially in Australia where they have no natural predators, so the imported cats are a huge menace to the wild animals.
I care for all animals, also cats and crocs;-) but I hate when people talk about their poor cat being chased by a "vivious" dog and so much more.
Dogs donīt kill for fun, they usually donīt kill at all, dogs donīt climb up on cars or leave infectious left-overs where children play in the sand, they donīt run around and fight at night, they stay at home and so forth.
Cats have a nature of its own and must be respected for what it is, but noone can ever convince me that theyīre poor sweet animals and much more clever than dogs. Thatīs ridicoulus.

Cats... evil little monsters sometimes! A friend of mine Matt had a cat called Shwsbane that used to leave him presents of mouse hearts on his pillow for when he woke up. He tried hard to seem grateful, but...

~~GRIN~~ Annemette... Most definately *blackbird* has it's place here...

Life is balanced by death, for how do we appreciate one without the other...:)))

You are very welcome dear friend... ~~GRIN~~ I have no fear of the head of a blackbird... Life can be brutal for creatures, great and small... Sadly, man can often be the master of the game...

Have a lovely weekend dear friend...:)))

My faithful commentator:-)Yes, a rather spooky image, but it also have a place on UF I think because it displays the more brutal side of life.
THanks a million for commenting on this, Onie:-)

Very confusing Annemette...:))) I am sad for the blackbird, but at the same time, find the photo very much art... :)))

I dare say the poor blackbird would like to be reunited with it's head again... even in death... Here however, you have created an interesting and clever, though macabre abstract... :)))

Makes me think of those theatrical masquerade masks, or, south American ceremonial masks Annemette...:)))

Onie...
